The USJ Choir is thrilled to present: “The Sacred Music of Poulenc,” highlighting the works of the renowned composer from the 20th century. The repertoire includes his exquisite sacred pieces: Stabat Mater, Gloria, and Litanies à la Vierge Noire, that Poulenc himself describes as “the best and most genuine part of myself.” Poulenc’s musical style is characterized by its versatility, wit, and impeccable craftsmanship, making him a truly distinctive figure in history.
